It is important
to us that you make an informed decision when joining our
classes. Therefore, courtesy of YouTube.com, here are a
selection of videos so you can see our classes in action.
Please
note that the students in these clips are experienced, training on a weekly basis with Kelly Bunyan, KB Kickboxing
and KB Kung Fu's Chief Instructor. As the
students have decided to follow the grading route, they
are focused in their training. Focus and a commitment to
pushing as hard as possible, must not be confused with
being aggressive. Our Members are far from it...they
have lots of fun too :))
You'd be most
welcome to come along to the lessons to take a look for
yourself, but viewing sections of the classes might just save
you some time. Click on the links beneath to see more.
For 10-15 minutes of every class, KB Members kick.
It can be whilst sparring (for the more experienced
Members) on focus mitts, or in the air. It is a
great way to improve the quality of all kicks.
Sparring at KB Kickboxing is light and controlled. All
sparrers take care of their partners, the intention is
not to hit hard and 'damage' fellow KB Members. You'll
see in these videos how controlled KB Members are.
Sparring is such an exhilarating, cardio-blasting
workout. Not everybody chooses to spar however; students
are free to define their own training goals.
KB Members
punch and kick the focus mitts (pads) in every lesson.
The focus mitts are a particularly good way to relieve
stress at the end of a hard working day. Contact
is light and controlled - focusing more on speed and
accuracy.
