Please
note that the students in these clips are quite
experienced, training on a weekly basis with Kelly
Bunyan, KB Kickboxing's Chief Instructor. As the
students have decided to follow the grading route, they
are focused in their training....they have lots of fun
too! :)) |

KB
KICKBOXING: WARM UP |
|
Every week
has a different way to warm up: Air work, pad work and
sparring for those whom spar. |
|
|
|
>
KB KICKBOXING: KICK DRILL |
|
This is a speed drill, where a certain amount of time is
set: 30 secs and kicks must be thrown as quickly as
possible...hard work but great for improving the quality
of kicks!

KB KICKBOXING: SPARRING |
|
Sparring at KB Kickboxing is light and controlled. All
sparrers take care of their partners, the intention is
not to hit hard and 'damage' fellow KB Members. Not
everybody chooses to spar. Students are free to define
their own training goals. |

|
>
KB KICKBOXING: AIR WORK |
|
Air work
incorporates Punches, Kicks and Blocks. KB Members
are encouraged to visualise their target as they throw
the techniques. |
|
|
|
>
KB KICKBOXING: PAD WORK |
|
KB Members
punch and kick the focus mitts (pads) in every lesson.
The focus mitts are a particularly good way to relieve
stress at the end of a hard working day. Contact
is light and controlled - focusing more on speed and
accuracy. |
