ABOUT 

KB Kickboxing is the Kickboxing wing of KB Fitness. Classes cater to women and men in Central London.  Female Instructor, Kelly Bunyan, 1st Degree Black Sash in Kung Fu and 4th Dan Black Belt in Kickboxing, formed KB Kickboxing in 1999.  The London Martial Arts club is affiliated to two global associations:  United Martial Arts International and WAKO.

Kevin Brewerton established UMAI; it has a reputation for the highest degree of excellence with representatives teaching throughout the US and UK.  The president, Kevin Brewerton, is recognised internationally for his contributions to and his expertise in the world of martial arts.

KB Kickboxing offers Martial Arts classes in Central London for complete beginners and experienced students and is the only school in London to offer points & continuous fighting and Lau style Kung Fu.

KB Kickboxing's classes are an explosive, upbeat cardiovascular workout emphasising footwork, body mechanics, kicking and punching combinations,  defensive and offensive techniques.  Essentially students jump around, punch, block and kick whilst the music helps get them going There are no set routines to music, KB Kickboxing is not Body Combat. J

The focus of our London Martial Arts classes is not to hit hard and 'damage' other members of the class - aggressive behaviour is not welcome in the school.   However, it is to learn an art form, improve confidence and fitness – at the same time as having fun.  Hundreds of our Members never wish to spar (fight others), they just hit the focus mitts and strike into the air.

KB Kickboxing's competitive advantage is the fact that the ambience in our training spaces is rare and consequently very special.  It is macho and ego free; a relaxed and welcoming environment, where all Members are free to be themselves, without fear of homophobia, racism, sexism etc.  

All of our Martial Arts classes are conducted by fully qualified Martial Arts Instructors;  the foundations of the classes rest securely on ancient Martial Arts as opposed to aerobic qualifications.  

Each student is free to progress at their own pace.  There is not too much pressure on getting things absolutely 'right' but always encouragement to try and improve individual performance.
